Feedback
Me and the group went down to see Marcel and Ann to discuss the idea we had for filming them doing their work. The feedback we got back from them was they didn't want to be filmed and to do a film of them starting a piece of work and speeding it up to show the finished piece wouldn't be practical. So we have arranged a meeting for Friday 25th March with them in our studio to discuss what they would like on their site.

Research
I started looking at speed painting videos because we had the idea of filming the artists painting or drawing on canvas and then speeding the video up so it showed them with an empty canvas through to a finished painting. Below are a few examples I found on Youtube:

Research
After talking to fine artists we got an idea for the type of things they wanted on their site. We also had an idea of filming the artists painting or drawing then speeding the film up so it showed from painting or drawing fast. I have began to research Fine Art artists websites to see how they differ from those of Graphic Designers and Web Designers.

Below are some of the sites I found:

What I noticed was that their sites were minimal in design compared to graphic design and web design sites.
Client Related Practice for Web Design Brief 2
The Brief
Marcel Craven (2nd year fine art student) and two of his colleagues have formed an art group called "Anomics" and they would like a website creating that will showcase their work and inform people of upcoming events. They would like a simple design maybe white text on black or vice versa. It needs to have links to all three artists individual pages.
Working together as a group we have been assigned the following roles for this project.
Myself = Design and helping out with the CMS
Andy Howard = Design
Daniel Whittaker = Design
Dave Jones = CMS and coding
Daniel Farrell = CMS and coding
